Movement has always been a cornerstone in Paulo’s life. From beginning martial arts at the age of four to competing on a state championship volleyball team in high school, he has long understood the transformative power of physical activity.
His passion for movement led him to New York City after graduation, where he immersed himself in the world of professional dance. There, he trained in classical ballet, modern, contemporary, and hip hop styles. During his years as a dancer, he witnessed the significant toll that physical demands can place on both the body and mind.
This awareness is what first sparked Paulo’s interest in yoga, where he experienced its profound healing benefits. Through earning his 500-hour certification with Yogaworks, he deepened his understanding of alignment and functional movement, forming the foundation of his holistic wellness philosophy.
Driven by a desire to help others optimize their health, he returned to school to pursue a career in chiropractic care. Over the course of eight years of rigorous education, he integrated his movement-based background with the science of chiropractic medicine to develop a comprehensive approach to health and healing.
Today, as a licensed chiropractor at Westenhaver Chiropractic, he brings this integrative perspective to his work. Paulo is dedicated to meeting each patient where they are on their wellness journey—helping them reconnect with their bodies, restore balance, and achieve their optimal state of health.
