Kimberly Shay E-RYT 500hr has been teaching since 2011.

She has also been in Sales in the tech software space for 23 years, teaches 2-4 yoga classes a week and is raising her two school-aged boys.  

Kimberly is an initiated breath work guide and E-RYT 500. She has studied with Liz Doyle, Michel Spruance and Tina Templeman at Be Luminous Yoga earning her 200 hour RYT in May of 2011. She completed her 500 hour yoga training with Megan Carroll through Twist Yoga Edmonds. She has also mentored with Lisa Black at Shakti and has attended master workshops with teachers such Universal Yoga founder, Andrey Lappis and workshops for the Harmonium and Chanting with Girish at studios like Bala Yoga and Terra Yoga, as well as Shakti Vinyasa Yoga. In May 2014, Kimberly began her studies with Vedic Conservatory's, Mukti (Michael Buck) for Vedic Thai Bodywork known as Nuad Borarn. This is an interest that she would like to pursue and offer in the future.

She has taught at numerous studios over the years from Issaquah, Mercer Island, Seattle and Edmonds.

Kimberly enjoys encouraging students to connect with their body and breath in a new and intentional way incorporating visualization and spirituality into her dialogue as well as a keen focus on safety, alignment and curiosity. She has a passion for blending many traditions and modalities into an experience that will challenge the physical body with thoughtful asana, quiet the mind with mindfulness based awareness practice, develop connection to the natural world, and open the heart. Kimberly's approach is down to earth and joyful - bringing brightness, confidence and peace. Her goal, as a teacher and guide, is to offer others an empowering experience that they can apply in all areas of their lives.
